Mrs. Suzanne Simon’s students are enjoying the new reading nook in their classroom at Level Green Elementary School.
Simon raised $1,075 through DonorsChoose, a crowdfunding resource for teachers. The funds were used to secure flexible seating, a rug to stretch out on, a bookshelf to make finding books easy, and an assortment of books.
“Having this fun reading nook in our classroom is a dream come true,” said Mrs. Simon. “While covering reading with my students, these materials help provide a complete learning space and enhance their love for books.”
