Exotic Animals Visit Level Green Elementary School

The students of Level Green Elementary School were delighted with an assembly in mid-April by the ‘Wild World of Animals’.  The event, organized by Student Learning Assistant Miss Stephany McNamara, was sponsored by the school’s PTO.

Grant Kemmerer III, who specializes in animal conservation and educational wildlife shows, brought a variety of interesting and exotic animals to the school, including a crocodile, a blood python, a snake neck tortoise, a prehensile-tailed porcupine, a sloth, a laughing kookaburra, a falcon, and a cerval (a large cat that resembles a cheetah).  Mr. Kemmerer shared many interesting animal facts, and the kids enjoyed a memorable day.
