During a Spring science unit on Dinosaurs, Mr. Baumgarner’s second-graders at Level Green Elementary School (Penn-Trafford School District) enjoyed some hands-on lessons. In one, the students dug up and identified dinosaur models using paleontological tools. Next, they learned how scientists determined what colors and patterns dinosaurs were, and then they painted their models to match the dinosaur’s habitat.
