Flexible Seating Enhances Learning

Through grant funding from DonorsChoose, Mrs. Shogan was able to add a new floor table with cozy chairs to her first-grade classroom at Level Green Elementary School.

The students now have several different flexible seating areas for collaborating with their peers or completing class work independently. The spaces in the classroom offer an alternative from working at their desks. “My students enjoy sitting by their friends in new places in the classroom and it makes school a fun place to be!” commented Shogan.
