Students in Mr. Giovannitti’s 5th-grade math class at Level Green Elementary School played a fun and challenging math game. Similar to the classic game of Battleship, the students had to solve addition and subtraction of fractions and mixed numbers with like and unlike denominators to try and get a hit on their opponent’s battleship.
