Students Envison Waterpark Designs

Mrs. Nikki Adasczik, a Student Learning Assistant at Level Green Elementary School, just completed a lesson with her third-grade students which entailed designing their own waterparks.  The project began with a virtual field trip to a waterpark and included elements from many subjects including reading, writing, grammar, math, and science.

Students began by researching materials for their parks and staying within a budget.  They made marketing decisions about the name and decor, designed a brochure, and chose music for their parks.  Finally, each student created a Google slide presentation about their waterpark to share with the class.
