New Murals Adorn Playground

With funding from the Penn-Trafford Community Education Foundation, art teacher Mrs. Christoforetti spearheaded two playground murals at Level Green Elementary School.  Fifth-grade students painted the murals -  an interactive clock and a life-size game of ‘Lizards and Ladders’.  These latest additions to the school will promote active minds and healthy bodies of the students.

“The creation of the clock and board game taught students how to use craftsmanship, time management, basic art, and safety skills as well as collaborating together to make one masterpiece for the community,” commented Christoforetti.

While painting, Mrs. Christoforetti overheard two of the students talking about leaving their mark on their school, and bringing their kids back to Level Green someday to play on it.
