Students of Penn-Trafford School District in first through fifth grades were invited to attend a “Mad Scientist Lab” class during the week of June 12th. The class, attended by 50 students from all five of the district’s elementary schools, was taught by Mrs. Hlavsa (Level Green teacher), Mrs. Oliver (Sunrise teacher), and Mrs. Rocca (Level Green student learning assistant). Throughout the week, the students conducted science experiments that covered topics such as sound, weather, electricity, and chemical reactions.
