First-Graders Enjoy Dogs and Tales

The first-grade students of Level Green Elementary School enjoyed spending an October morning reading to some furry friends.  Essie, Peanut, and Cappi from the ‘Dogs to Tales’ organization were all ears during their visit.  “Reading to the dogs helped our budding readers gain self-confidence in their reading fluency and added to their growing love for reading,” shared Mrs. Shogan. “All three classes were so excited for the dogs to come on that day!”
