Kindergarten students in the Penn-Trafford School District enjoyed “Pumpkin Day” during October. For the annual celebration at Sunrise Elementary, Mrs. Cleland and Mrs. Lubecki coordinated many activities for their classes, including decorating pumpkins, playing tic-tac-toe with pumpkins, and putting together pumpkin puzzles.
Over at Level Green Elementary, Mrs. Vovaris and Mrs. Meyers planned a day centered around pumpkins. “We read pumpkin stories, completed pumpkin activities, made pumpkin crafts, and played pumpkin games,” commented Vovaris. “We even dissected a pumpkin!”
