Level Green Elementary School received a makeover of its common space with donations from DonorsChoose (a crowdfunding resource for teachers). This space is located between the library and the courtyard and is a central location for all students to work and visit.
Teacher Mrs. Barbara Feathers spearheaded the campaign called "Small Space for Big Minds" and raised $4,839 to equip the area with movable desks, stools, lap desks, floor seats, and an area rug. “This really helped to transform the space for small group instruction at Level Green,” said Feathers. “We are already making use of the space for small groups, tutoring, spectrum, and ESL classes.”
