Students from Penn-Trafford’s Level Green Elementary School were rewarded for their dedication to reading during the school’s Reading Treasure Map Celebration held in September.
Throughout the summer, students were challenged to read books and collect “coins” to fill their treasure maps. Each completed map represented hours of reading. When students returned to school in the fall, those who completed their maps earned a ticket to the special celebration.
The event featured a variety of fun activities, including Kona Ice, relay races, a slingshot game, kickball, capture the flag, and more.
