Level Green Elementary School held its second annual “Grinch Fest” on the evening of December 4, bringing together students, families, and staff for a night of activities in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event raised more than $2,200 for the organization.
During the event, students participated in a variety of themed crafts, including creating Grinch Trees, Grinch Houses, and Grinch Origami. Families also enjoyed meeting the Grinch himself and joining him for a photo.
Additional attractions included basket raffles, a t-shirt bar provided by M B Apparel & More, and refreshments like pizza and cotton candy.
“This Grinch Fest isn't about stealing Christmas; it's about giving joy, spreading kindness, and helping wishes come true," commented event chairperson Nikki Bon, a student learning assistant at the school.
“Our students and families showed extraordinary heart during our event,” said principal Mr. Swartz. “Everyone’s generosity and excitement for this wonderful cause were truly inspiring. We are grateful for the dedication shown in making a difference and positively impacting our community.”
