Welcome to Music!

Welcome to Music! I am so excited to begin another school year here at Penn-Trafford! This will be my sixth year in the district, and I truly hope your children will discover a love and appreciation for music just as I have.

I graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and recently earned my Master’s Degree in Education from PennWest, with a concentration in Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership. Before returning to school to earn my teaching certification, I spent many years teaching instrumental music through the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with marching bands, musicals, choirs, and ensembles of all ages. I am a voice major, piano minor, and accomplished instrumentalist, and I love sharing my passion for music with my students!

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family, enjoying the great outdoors, and, of course, watching hockey.
